Add altruism to virtue. To be a good public servant a person needs both, among other things. Our form of government depends on these to work as intended. The key to working for government is a selfless man who thinks of others before himself. Altruism is a huge part of virtue. We must let these attributes, come to the sanity in us, and convince those who can uncover theirs.
