What would I feel like in his shoes.
His Bible history begins, short but sweet, the son of God is born.
Then we skip to 33 years old, Jesus was a carpenter, just like me.
It would take a book, of what ifs, almosts, heartbreaks and little victories, for me.
You'd be lucky to suffer thru chapter 3, let's skip it.
Then Christ shows up with a brand new plan. Humans are far from perfect,
If they stay like they are, heaven might be empty.
He made his case all over the place, catching the attention to everyday people.
These folks wrote about what Christ was doing and saying, and how it made the writers feel.
It became the New Testament, full of really good stuff, the best seller in history. Except the New York Times, censored that fact .
The Royal Elites, started catching on to just what Christ was selling.
Justice, freedom to speak, forgiveness, righteousness and most of all hope.
This cannot Stand. So the Slavers went after Jesus Christ with a vengeance.
Christ's reply? Come and get me. I'm the son of God, and I'm right, was Christ's answer. There are no alternatives for the truth.
This was the last straw. And Jesus just kept on spreading his word, throughout the land.
Well, since the Son of God wouldn't shut up, the Royals decided, killing him was needed.
He still wouldn't leave. In fact he had a going away party with his friends.
So they sent in the swat team(Romans) and arrested Christ for his utter defiance.
They tortured him with the cruelest of evil, he still did not crack.
The Royals decided it was dyin' time, for this grifter heretic.
They made him carry his weapon of execution, to his ending place on earth..
Raising him up, inflicting all the pain the swat team(romans) could deliver.
The Royals finally got their way, and ridded themselves, of the truth, Jesus Christ death delivered, So the oppressor's carried on their oppressive ways to you and me.
Three days later, the Son of God's Body was missing, and conspiracies exploded through out the land.
Suddenly Christ came back, free of pain and wounds, and spoke to you and me.
"I'm back, I told I was Right"
