Focus, In the Zone, Hot Streak, Concentration. Words and fraises, to describe us humans, when we are at our best. The moment our mind puts all of it’s power in a single moment. Example:
Sports is a common illustration, when the wonder of the mind, is focused on one object. What would it be like to take those valued moments in our daily life, and stop the noise, before you engage in…….. my cell phone just went off. What was I thinking?
Welcome to our present world of veritable chaos. Now is the time for me to write paragraphs of all the noise, we experience, every day, awake or a sleep. I won’t waste your time, I’d be trying to repeat all the various encounters, going through your mind, hoping for your validation.
This is the plan, to attack our minds with loud absurd, and mostly unnecessary information, along with being forced to react to something, unintended, even against our will. An occupied mind, is diluting our ability to operate in an efficient manner. Every decision we make, is challenged with bewildering nonsense. Always gray, never black and white. In art school, many years ago, I learned any color mixed together, with black or white, are called a value. Is that racist?
I’m on a mission, not to stop the noise, but put a ‘value’ to it, and turn off what I don’t need. I’m kidding, I’ve been trying to ‘stop my mind’, long before Don Henley wrote the lyric. When I was banned from facebook, twitter and even a sports web site, at the beginning of the spandemic, I didn’t miss it. Now that I’m back on all of them,……..there went my phone again, somebody I don’t know, made a trade in my fantasy football league!
Happy Saturday.
Loved the "Where's Waldo". Now, get back to the football game. That Florida State Clemson game was a doozie.
