Where does the water go?

Ethanol from corn, is literally killing the Mississippi river, today, right now.
When we could be growing food for the world and have a healthy river.
Wind mills are killing so many birds, it is changing the environment, around them,
If you haven' approached the wind mills out on the water, the sound is deafening.
It's no wonder it is killing whales. Solar panels are covering our most valuable resource for man and the environment, dirt. The best filter there ever was.
The last big oil spill in the gulf, never mention's the oil was disappearing as fast as it was spewing every where. Since Mother earth has been causing oil leaks naturally, from cracks in the ocean floors, she created a microbe that eats oil.
Where does the water go? How is it we have less water? Because of human abuse?
